THE DEFECTION FROM HILLARY BY FEMINISTS

Naomi Wolf, the San Francisco born , Yale educated, Oxford attendee feminist is the author of five feminist bent books. She is a bright star in the cosmos of feminism, and writes articles for the Huffington Post.
This left wing rag, is owned and bankrolled by accused plagiarist, and one time wife of aspiring U.S.Senatorial millionaire Michael Huffington, who lost to Diane Fienstine in 1994.
Arianna Huffington (born Arianna Stassinopoulos on July 15, 1950 in Greece),is an on and off liberal(now full bore on), who called herself a Republican when her “ex” ran for the US House successfully, but changed back to her liberal roots after her divorce in 1997.With the millions she garnered from her divorce settlement she has hit the book, radio, television and blog circuit’s.
Now the two of them, with a cuvy of other feminists, have jumped on the Obama band wagon with both feet! Ms. Noami made her commitment because she believes Obama will dismantle all of President Bush’s Home Land Security, and the John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007. This she states will, she assumes, prevent America from becoming a fascist state. Apparently she is not the least bit worried that we might become socialized or even communist as you will see from an excerpt from one of her books. Her only concerns other than feminism are that we don’t follow the paths of Hitler or Mussolini. In her book she writes the following:
“From Hitler to Pinochet and beyond, history shows there are certain steps that any would-be dictator must take to destroy constitutional freedoms”. And, argues Naomi Wolf, George Bush and his administration seem to be taking them all!
If that were not enough to alert you to the kind of people who are supporting Obama for President note this.
Lawyers for Gitmo detainees endorse Obama,” read a recent headline on the Boston Globe’s political blog. In the article, reporter Charlie Savage notes that “More than 80 volunteer lawyers for Guantanamo Bay detainees today endorsed Illinois Senator Barack Obama’s presidential bid. The attorneys said in a joint statement that they believed Obama was the best choice to roll back the Bush-Cheney administration’s detention policies in the war on terrorism and thereby to ‘restore the rule of law, demonstrate our commitment to human rights, and repair our reputation in the world community.’”
The lawyers who signed this letter applauded Obama for having stood up in 2006 against aspects of the Military Commissions Act. Unfortunately, his fight was ultimately unsuccessful( thank God) — which is why we are all still in danger. But unlike other candidates he truly fought and he understood the nature of the danger: “When we were walking the halls of the Capitol trying to win over enough Senators to beat back the Administration’s bill, Senator Obama made his key staffers and even his offices available to help us,” the lawyers wrote. “Senator Obama worked with us to count the votes, and he personally lobbied colleagues who worried about the political ramifications of voting to preserve habeas corpus for the men held at Guantanamo. He has understood that our strength as a nation stems from our commitment to our core values, and that we are strong enough to protect both our security and those values. Senator Obama demonstrated real leadership then and since, continuing to raise Guantanamo and habeas corpus in his speeches and in the debates.”
People like Wolf and the criminal lawyers masquerading as defense lawyers for the “poor” terrorists in Gitmo, believe Bush has created a “gulag” in Guantanamo, Cuba, where detainees are abused, and kept indefinitely without trial. Note there is no concern that these people pose a threat if brought to the U.S. and escaped! Besides, they are not citizens, but suspected terrorists and have no rights under Our Constitution!

Another feminist blogger uses this kind of twisted rational for her endorsement of Obama. “When people ask how I, as a female and a feminist, could support a male candidate when there is an eligible female running for President, I tell them that the whole point of getting past sexism (or racism, or any other –ism) is to get where we could look past gender and elect a candidate based purely on policies and qualification for the job.
And that is exactly the approach that I have taken in choosing my presidential candidate for 2008. Senator Obama has a proven record of bringing parties together across the table to negotiate and take action, rather than allowing lengthy stagnation. At this time, in this country, there is nothing more important to our future than having a leader who has the ability to unite”.
“I would not expect any other person or candidate to have exactly the same belief system as my own, but of all the candidates, Senator Obama’s stances are certainly the closest to mine. In particular, I applaud his positions on and plans for women’s policy, health care, and education, and I admire his solid, unwavering stance on the Iraq War

For those who don’t know Obama’s stance on women’s policy I include his statement of policy. “From the first moment a woman dared to speak that hope - dared to believe that the American Dream was meant for her too - ordinary women have taken on extraordinary odds to give their daughters the chance for something else; for a life more equal, more free, and filled with more opportunity than they ever had. In so many ways we have succeeded, but in so many areas we have much work left to do.” Say What? Nothing but words!
~ Barack Obama, Speech in Washington, DC, 11/10/05
Conservatives and right to life supporters will understand his real position as follows: “I have been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women’s rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as President”. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court’s decision in that case. He believes in the genocide that is abortion!
This year marks thirty five years since the Supreme Court’s disastrous “Roe v. Wade” decision gave blanket legalization to abortion, and that ruling killed 50 million unborn babies since then. The feminists claim that women have been greatly elevated in society because of Roe vs Wade. However, at this milestone, it is worthwhile to ponder the horrendous consequences they have paid.
With the advent of Roe v. Wade, and the “popularization” of abortion on demand, society notified its “new” members that they too had once been worthless and ultimately “expendable,” and thus the lives they currently live resulted merely from the beneficent whims of those who had the power, and “legal authority” to eradicate them. Euthanasia to follow!

Obama’s Position Ignores the Cost to Tax Payers

Barack Obama gave a seech yesterday at Hocking College in Ohio, during which he staked out his position on same sex marriage, abortion and the home mortgage crisis. For this his plan is to use $10 billion to establish a home mortgage fund, and the tax payers tab keeps mounting every time he speaks

.

His position on troop withdrawal has not changed since he voted in the U.S. Senate against the original bill authorizing the invasion of Iraq. Nor has his position on same sex marriage and his position on abortion. He is for all three!
He is viewed by many as the political equivalent of the Messiah who will change everything that is perceived as wrong in Washington and the Country.
The act he is playing has denigrated to using selected partial quotations from the Bible to support his positions.
Sunday he used a portion of the Sermon On The Mount by Jesus to make his point that we should recognize same sex marriages. He left out the parts that condemn sexual acts outside of marriage conveniently.

The Sermon, recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, includes the Lord’s Prayer, the Beatitudes, an endorsement of scriptural moral commandments (”anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven”), and condemnations of murder, divorce and adultery. It also includes a warning: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.”

When questioned about his same sex marriage position being contrary to Saint Paul’s epistle St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans, Obama dismissed it as “obscure.”

The Epistle discusses people who knew God but turned against him.”They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator–who is forever praised,” wrote St. Paul. “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

If you are an agnostic, nihilist or an atheist the biblical quotes mean nothing to you. However, in this speech Obama was proclaiming himself as a long time practicing Christian.
When a member of the Illinois legislature he repeatedly opposed a bill that would have defined as a “person” a baby who had survived an induced-labor abortion and was born alive.

On the topic of abortion, Obama said his support for keeping it legal does not trespass on his Christian faith.”I think that the bottom line is that in the end, I think women, in consultation with their pastors, and their doctors, and their family, are in a better position to make these decisions than some bureaucrat in Washington”. He conveniently ignores God’s fifth Commandment, “tho Shall Not Kill”.

In the end these matters are for the voters to decide if they want him to be President, an for his own conscience. But there is the large matter of tax payers dollars being given in the form of grants to abortion supporting and performing organisations.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has spent tens of millions of U.S. tax dollars to promote so-called “reproductive rights” programs in Third World countries.
In 2006 USAID spent $371,249,000.00 - all of it tax dollars - for “reproductive health” programs. That’s code for abortion, sterilization, contraception and other population control programs.
Making this situation even more desperate, USAID has joined forces with the world’s foremost proponent of abortion, the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
And Planned Parenthood’s own “research” organization, the Guttmacher Institute, confirms the fact that it is your tax dollars that are funding the world’s “population control” movement. source:CNSnews.com

One Million Abortions Called Progress?

Should We All Cheer The Reduced Killing?

Today’s Washington Post headlined a “feel good” story, they thought! A survey of 1,787 abortionists nation wide revealed the “encouraging” fact that abortions are reducing. Their survey showed that in 2005 the number of abortions being performed in the United States has dropped to 1.2 million a year - the lowest level since 1976, the year Roe was approved by the Un-Supreme Court.
Since 1976 their have been 50 million abortions performed in the United States. A genocide of mythical proportions, and the Capitol of abortions is New York City! A city in a state that has the most liberal abortion laws.
The average payment for this death producing procedure is estimated at $413.00. The aborting is done on pregnant women aged 15-44, and most abortions are performed in the North East. The least number of abortions are performed in the Middle West and the South.
Many states do not even require a permission slip from the parents to have an abortion, nor do they have to notify the child’s parents after. But most public schools need a permission slip from the child’s MD and parent to give the child an aspirin.
Scientist have shown that a baby in the womb( aka fetus) can feel pain at six weeks, but they prove that the fetus can feel pain at the 20th week because the baby responds to the pain.
Doctor Carlo Bellieni, Professor of Neonatal Therapy at Le Scotte University of Siena, Italy has this to say about fetal suffering during abortion. “The scientific evidence for the humanity of the unborn is immense. We cannot understand how it can be thought that it becomes a person at a certain point, perhaps when coming out of the uterus. From the physical point of view, at the birth very little really changes: Air enters the lungs, the arrival of blood from the placenta is interrupted, the type of circulation of blood in the heart changes, and not much more.
“As I often say, only blind faith in magic arts or some strange divinity can lead one to think that there is a ‘human’ quality leap at a given moment — certainly not science.”He concludes, “. . .I think one should say ‘enough’ to that anti-scientific attitude that regards prenatal life as a second-class life. And the paradox is that instead the Church is accused of retarding progress. In reality, the Church has an attitude of protection of health.”
New Yorkers, like Americans generally, start to get queasy when confronted with the best weapons in the pro-life movement’s arsenal: graphic descriptions of rarely used late-term-abortion methods, and the fact that thousands of New York women return each year to clinics for a third or fourth abortion. When we nod our heads at Bill Clinton’s famous formulation that abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare” or Hillary Clinton’s more recent proclamation that abortion is “a sad, even tragic choice,” we admit some discomfort with the procedure.
Among New York’s pro-choice leaders, reaction to this message is divided. Political groups like NARAL say they understand the need for conceding to public opinion. But to providers, the Clintonian reframing of the issue capitulates to pro-lifers. “Hillary can say anything she wants about whether an abortion is a tragedy,” says Dr. Paul. “What I know when I perform an abortion for a patient is that the overwhelming feeling is one of relief. Because the abortion has solved a huge problem in her life, whether it’s because she couldn’t’t afford another child, couldn’t’t afford to be a good mother to another child, or doesn’t have the money to raise a child.” She becomes increasingly passionate as she speaks. “Every time I do an abortion I save a woman’s life. If you want to call that a tragedy”—she pauses and exhales a sharp sigh—“I don’t consider it a tragedy, I’m sorry.”
Not as sorry as the baby you just killed I say!
“Our view is, abortion is nothing special. Abortion is right up there with having a baby or getting the care for whatever other medical needs you have.”
This is the attitude of one who either fails to accept a Divine purpose to Life, or chooses to ignore it. Her reasons are lies and are fathered by the father of all lies! Let us not celebrate until abortion “on demand” is nothing but a nightmare in the memory of events that this Country has passed through!

HYPOCRICY TRUMPS ETHICS IN DEATH PENALTY OPPOSITION

Filed under: abortion — rotenochsen @ 2:28 pm

As Reported in JURIST, A federal judge ruled Wednesday that Tennessee’s execution procedures constitute “cruel and unusual” punishment, derailing plans to execute a death row inmate next week. US District Judge Aleta Trauger [official profile] held that revised death penalty protocols [PDF text; JURIST report], devised by the Tennessee Department of Corrections in April at the request of Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen [official website], do not ensure that prisoners’ are properly anesthetized before they receive a lethal injection and thus violate their constitutional Eighth Amendment rights. The Tennessee Attorney Generals office has not yet decided whether or not it will appeal the decision. This coincides with an article written by a British Neurologist for the JURIST, Dr. David Nocholl, demanding that death penalty cases that are carried out using lethal injection are cruel and unusual treatment because the chemicals used could allow the person being put to death to feel pain
Putting aside for a moment the fact that the person being put to death had no concern for the person he/she killed in a heinous manner felt pain.
There is a unfathomable hypocrisy in advocating the end to capital punishment based upon the pain it causes, while thousands of doctors inflict pain on unborn and partially born babies every day during abortions.
In the period from 1976 to 2000 there were just 64 executions in the State of Florida, but records show that in 2003 alone there were 854,122 abortions performed in the U.S.
Twenty-five percent of those women who had abortions gave the reason for the abortions as: “they wanted to postpone childbearing”, and only 2.8% were because the mothers life or health was endangered by the pregnancy.
Over 12% of the abortions performed in the U.S. are done after 13 weeks post fertilization.
Available scientific evidence indicates that a fetus can feel pain 20 weeks after fertilization, and they certainly feel it when partial birth abortions are performed on fully formed babies. The source for this statistic is a Time Magazine article written in December 2006 by Nancy Gibbs.

Dr. Nicholls had this to say about the chemicals used in lethal injection:

“There is no clear medical reason for the use of the muscle-paralysing agent, Pancuronium, as there is the very real possibility of a prisoner who is paralysed but only partially anesthetized will experience intense pain with the cardiotoxin, Potassium Chloride. However, for death penalty proponents, clearly it would be disturbing to see a prisoner writhing in pain, so the use of Pancuronium would be a politically astute move. It is interesting to note how even the US veterinary association regard the use of Pancuronium unacceptable in the euthanasia of domestic pets. Today’s report clearly shows a number of cases where executions have been botched with prolonged deaths, skins burns and convulsions. Why do doctors involve themselves in the death penalty, when every medical association that has studied the matter, has so conclusively opposed the involvement of health care workers in the death penalty? Often there is ignorance of ethical guidelines amongst members of the medical profession”
It is equally interesting to this blogger that the doctor refers to pain inflicted on a dog and ignores the pain inflicted on millions of aborted babies!
Abortion hurts - - physically, psychologically, and spiritually. A recent column that appeared in an issue of the magazine “George”. Written by Naomi Wolf, it was titled “The Dead Baby Boom.” In a few words her thesis is that partial-birth abortions are so painful to contemplate that “the image pushing to the forefront of our culture is that of a tortured fetus outside the womb.” Whether the victim is a newborn or an infant, these are “suffering babies”. Why are people like Dr.Nicholland the Tennessee District Judge Trauger not more interested in the pain inflicted daily not occasionally in the dastardly abortion process. I think it is all about money!

Man Who Wants To Be President supports Baby Killing?

Filed under: abortion, obama, politics — rotenochsen @ 8:12 pm

A man whose countenance looks like “butter won’t melt in his mouth”. You know him as the boy next door. But in reality he is allegedly advocating the killing of a born baby within seconds or minutes after the baby is born.
Not since biblical times when Herod ordered the killing of all male children under age two, have I heard a politician say murdering a newborn was legitimate.

If the following quote is accurate no Catholic or for that matter no Christian should consider allowing this anti-Christ to ever sit in the oval office. “When you get right down to it,” the Illinois Senator said before an audience at the recent Stem Cells R Us Annual Convention, “What difference does two or three minutes inside or outside the womb really make? One’s ‘late-term’ and the other’s ‘postpartum’. Who’s to say if the postpartum fetus is truly viable? Postpartum fetuses die all the time for all manner of reasons…”

If a full-term unborn baby can be called a “fetus” and aborted, then why not, right? There’s no significant theoretical or intellectual leap involved…”.

What about the Constitution with it’s right to LIFE. liberty and pursuit of happiness? This only applies to babies who leave the delivery room as I see his alleged statement!

This would be murder by an rational thinking man, and even his youthful education in a Muslim school would tell him the act is forbidden by the Quran because it is murder.

He is anti-Iraq War and pro-socialized medicine, and when he speaks of religion he uses these words:the title of his 2006 book, The Audacity of Hope, was inspired by his pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.[143] In Chapter 6 of the book, titled “Faith,” Obama writes that he “was not raised in a religious household.” He describes his mother, raised by non-religious parents, as detached from religion, yet “in many ways the most spiritually awakened person that I have ever known.” He describes his Kenyan father as “raised a Muslim,” but a “confirmed atheist” by the time his parents met, and his Indonesian step-father as “a man who saw religion as not particularly useful.” The chapter details how Obama, in his twenties, while working with local churches as a community organizer, came to understand “the power of the African American religious tradition to spur social change.” Obama writes: “It was because of these new found understandings—that religious commitment did not require me to suspend critical thinking, disengage from the battle for economic and social justice, or otherwise retreat from the world that I knew and loved—that I was finally able to walk down the aisle of Trinity United Church of Christ one day and be baptized.”[144]“.

The Christian Church he belongs to on the South Side of Chicago is considered a leftist activist pulpit for black activists. Maybe his position on killing born babies is OK by them, I don’t know, but it is not right with this blogger, and I reuse to call it anything but advocating murderer!

It Is Time For This Churchill to Go!

Blog at WordPress.com.
